| The Engine Repair House once sheltered a large steam locomotive from the freezing night temperatures. Under the tracks that run along the aisle are 5-foot pits that allowed maintenance crews to work underneath the locomotives. It is probably the only theatre with a full size steam engine nosing up and onto the stage. The building was converted to a Melodrama Theatre in the summer of 1983. Melodrama was held for 25 years. The theatre has been used for many events including: Variety Shows The Annual Freebox Fashion Show Film Club Fridays Community Fundraisers Private party events / wedding receptions movies such as Beer For My Horses |
